About Mill House Caravan & Camping Site

History dating back to the 1700's states that Mill House originated as a farm that was attached to the original Mill which is currently still present and standing next to the bridge as you enter the large camping field.

In the 1940's Mill House extended it's business venture and opened it's fields to camping enthusiasts and touring caravans. As camping and the outdoor life started to grow with interest Mill House introduced a small selection of static caravans.

During the 1970's Frank and Joy Ellaway purchased the land and Mill House and continued to grow the camping facilities and soon attracted people from all over the country and even Europe travelling through Worcester.

In 1982 Frank and Joy had the addition of the site shop and café built offering it's visitors groceries, hot food and beverages.

2001 brought the brand new toilet and shower block to the site which offered it's visitors hot washing up facilities and hot showers.

Sadly both Joy and Frank have now passed away, Joy in 2007 and Frank in 2016.

2016 – present: Mill House is now owned by Glynis, Joy & Frank’s daughter. Glynis and her daughter Gemma run and manage the operations of the site.

Mill House has 75 grass pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes, 41 are electric hook-up with an extra 4 small electric pitches available in our ‘B’ field.

Our charges are per pitch, per night. A pitch includes one tent and one car or one caravan, awning/gazebo and one car or one motorhome and awning/gazebo. You may be asked to park any extra cars away from your pitch, depending on space.

There is a small shop and breakfast cafe on site which is open on weekends and bank holidays, there are free shower blocks and toilets with washing-up sinks in both the ladies and gents.

The river Salwarpe surrounds the site which we allow fishing on for a small charge, you can also walk from the site along the canal to Droitwich or along the River Severn to Worcester.

One night bookings are available, we stock Calor Gas and Camping Gaz and Wi-Fi is available in the cafe. (Please note Wi-fi is not available in the fields)

Please be advised that as our site is in a low lying area, you may experience problems obtaining a television reception.
